Why Join the PTO?

The Chargers PTO exists to provide support and resources for the students, staff, and parents of Pioneer Technology and Arts Academy of North Dallas.


Our focus is on planning enrichment and social events, campus improvements, teacher appreciation, and creating a community of families working together to provide the best learning environment for our kids! Membership makes you a part of this effort. Membership dues contribute to our annual budget.


Free Spirit ItemsMembers receive:

  • A monthly newsletter highlighting PTO events, volunteer opportunities, and campus news.
  • Voting privileges at General Membership Meetings on programs, PTO officers, and our budget.
  • Access to our online member directory.
  • A complimentary yard sign or car decal to display your Charger pride. (Additional signs and decals can be purchased through our Spirit Store.)

Joining the PTO is one way to support our mission and shows the commitment of our families to our school and students.


Another way you can support us is by volunteering. Volunteers are needed throughout the year to create successful events such as the Fall Carnival, fundraising efforts, and staff support. Contact Mrs. Haddox to complete a background check. Approved voters will be added to our volunteer sign-ups. You can also watch our communications for specific needs.


Board and committee members are always needed! Board officers are elected or appointed each year. Committees are recruiting members throughout the year. Visit our PTO Board page for a list of officers and committees.
